I'm behind...

Here are some photos from the past couple months...

Claire went through a phase where she insisted on sleeping in random places...

The apple orchard with Nana Beimers.

I'm not sure who is more obsessed with technology...

Sioux Center

A few weeks ago Evan had a golf weekend with his buddies. So the kids and I spent the weekend with the in-laws. Doesn't everybody do that??? :)

Puzzles

Claire must have inherited Grandma Jo's love for puzzles. Here they're on puzzle 7 of 8!

Our little man is on the move. So not ready for this!!!

Nana and Claire's new bff

I'm behind in my blogging...Evan's mom came to visit a few weeks ago. Claire wasn't really up for sharing her Nana.

Nothing like a little Wall Street Journal to put you to sleep.

And this is Claire's new best friend. Our neighbors got a dog. And Claire LOVES her. Thankfully, Lucy is the most tolerant dog ever...

6 months

Our little man is six months old! And of course still off the charts. 21 1/2 lbs, 27 3/4 inches in length, and 46 1/2 cm head circumference. He is the happiest baby!

Snuggling

Claire has never been one to require much sleep so after bedtime it's not uncommon for her to play in her room for a good hour or so before finally deciding to climb into bed and go to sleep. Last night when Evan went to check on her, her bed was empty. With the baby monitor, we typically hear her if she goes into Eli's room. How she managed to climb into his crib and steal his pipe without us knowing, I have no idea...

Doing some landscaping in the front yard. Claire LOVES helping Daddy...

Picnic

We met the Garner family for a picnic at City Park. After some yummy BP&J's, the kids enjoyed the rides.

Check out how excited Evan is. :)

After 6 months of only breast milk, it was time for Eli to try some cereal.

He had the typical reaction...

Tonight was make-your-own sushi night at our house. Claire LOVED it!

Imperial

We made the lovely 600 mile trip back to Imperial. The kids did incredibly well-much better than I did. :) How did people survive long road trips before ipads?!?!

We spent the first night with the Siegel's in North Platte. They have quite an impressive garden. We took these watermelon back to Imperial with us and as I was packing up four days later, I found the little one in the couch. :)

Even though Burke has five months on Eli, I'm pretty sure there will be no hand-me-downs. Check out those thighs!

We're still working on an attitude adjustment after Claire got to do whatever she wanted for a few days at Nana and Papa's.

I took these last two photos last night. My babies are growing up too fast!!!
